Hey! So Glad You're Here.

This project began during my senior year of undergrad, when I found myself repeatedly answering the dreaded “tell me about yourself” question during job interviews.

As the months passed, I noticed how my answer kept evolving. In real time, I was unraveling who I was.

Initially, I had to overcome the fear that often accompanies interviews—the feeling of being a 20-year-old kid, practically on my knees, asking older professionals for a chance. But once I got the hang of it—learned the game, as they say—I started to strategize. I learned how to tell my story while subtly ticking off the boxes on their qualification list.

Then came a moment of clarity. The question, “Tell me about yourself,” which had been spinning in my mind, suddenly shifted. It transformed from a repetitive, intimidating demand into something simpler and more profound: Tell me about yourself.

The answer was obvious, almost laughably so. I had been stressing over what to say, always crafting a choppy blend of what I thought I should mention. But the truth was, I wasn’t ready to answer the question until I had a better grasp of who I was.

So, as I reflect on who I am—what I care about, the values I admire in others, and my own strengths and weaknesses—I’ll share those thoughts here, for anyone who wants to follow along.

This is my open letter to the world. I hope you enjoy.
